Hello everyone !
My name is Amy Richie, and I am Miss West Allis. This year (2017,) will be my third year competing in the Miss United States organization. I feel blessed to be a part of the Miss United States organization where I have been able to focus on very important philanthropic work.
My personal platform is the “Alzheimer’s Association“.
Working in Senior Care for over eleven years, I have seen the effects Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia disorders have on those who have it and their loved ones. I want to help bring awareness and help to fight for the end of Alzheimer’s.
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jennifer about a month ago. It was the most amazing experience! Jennifer not only made me feel beautiful during the shoot, she brought out my confidence as well. Her talents aren’t just behind the camera; she has a gift of bringing out your inner strength, beauty and confidence.
When I was shooting with her I felt inspired and so comfortable in my own skin. She was able to bring out the pageant queen side of me and also my true and natural self as well! Thank you Jenn, for the best photo shoot of my life !
(Note from Jenn: Amy is also participating in the Alzheimer’s Association “Walk to end Alzheimer’s.” – more info on that can be found HERE.)
