It’s been my honor to photograph Anna several times over the last handful of years. And today I’m so happy to share these new maternity portraits of her. These two are going to make wonderful parents, and I wish them all the happiness in the world.
And now, Anna’s experience:
“I’ve known Jennifer for quite some time. Ever since she became a photographer, I wanted her to be the one to photograph my life events. That dream has come true! She did a boudoir shoot for me as a gift for my soon-to-be-husband before our wedding. She did our engagement photos. She did our wedding photos. Now, she’s done our maternity photos in her portrait studio, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Pregnancy is a weird thing; no matter what people say, it’s not really “beautiful.” Unless you’re being photographed by Jennifer. Throughout this pregnancy so far, my body has morphed from my own to something I can barely recognize. During my time in Jennifer’s studio, I started to see my body as my own again. Before the session, Theresa’s hair and makeup skills transformed me from disheveled pregnant lady to, as my husband put it, “fertile goddess.” During the actual photography session, Jennifer brought out the strong, confident woman I remember from 3 years ago during my boudoir session. As usual, she made me feel confident in my own skin, and brought out all my best features. When my husband joined us for his portion, Jennifer made him feel right at home and captured his handsome strength immediately.
I was so excited for the reveal that I could barely wait the 2 weeks to see the final results. When we finally sat down on her couch and Jennifer showed us our photographs, I was completely floored. These photos are everything. She just got us. That’s it. We will treasure these photos, and this moment in time, forever.”
