The process begins with an initial consultation (in her awesome studio!) where Jennifer better understands your photo desires and gets to know you better! This was a game changer for me because she grasped my style and comfort level. We did more than just my professional headshot because I decided to celebrate the fifty year old in me, which I hadn’t been able to do as I turned 50 during the pandemic. So we picked my birthday for the session to make it extra special! I loved not having to figure out outfits nor do my hair or makeup. All I had to do was show up with my favorite accessories! I’ll admit, I was nervous about having someone new do my hair and makeup because I wanted these to be authentic me…not a glam shot. I communicated that and they listened….it was just perfect. Katrina is just as charming as Jennifer and beyond talented with hair and makeup application….spray on foundation and everything! (like wow!…thank you Allure Artistry).

Jennifer made me feel at ease almost instantly. Her energy is infectious! We went through numerous poses and outfits….capturing a variety of emotion. She brings out all sides of you….playful, serious, sensuous, loving and curious. We laughed and chatted…..it was such a fun few hours. I am not very comfortable in front of camera but Jennifer empowered me to find some confidence! She made this lady in her fifties look and feel great! I left feeling confident and ready for a dinner out with some special people.

The reveal was fabulous too. She prints – yes prints – her favorites and displays them on a large wall. The quality of her pictures is just amazing, so detailed. I will cherish these gems forever. A real gift.
