Alissa came to me for some new personal branding portraits, as she’s a Jazz vocalist here in Milwaukee!
We did some headshots and then some more stylized portraits, and ended the session with her family joining us. I asked Alissa if she would share a little bit about herself, her band / charity work, and the experience she had in the studio. I love her story below. Enjoy!
“I’m a full time hard working mother of two amazing kiddos. My husband constantly reminds me that I have to take time for myself, which I’m not very good at. When I saw Jennifer’s work I knew it was time, time for me. I have been blessed with a fantastic family, a great job and a wonderful music career that continues to flourish.
My band the J Ryan Trio (www.jryantrio.com) plays fun, classy, old-school music with every penny received donated to great charities. We have lately been supporting with the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative (www.mkehomelessvets.org). We get to make music together, have a blast doing it and all for a great cause.
Working with Jennifer was an absolute BLAST. If you know me, I have a comedic personality and being confident and sassy only happens when I’m behind a microphone. Jennifer made me feel comfortable, confident and downright beautiful. Thanks Jennifer. Wow, just Wow!”
