I’m so giddy to share these portraits. This is a very special couple – they are both such remarkable people and they are very near and dear to my heart. I met Jessica & Andy many years ago when they lived here in Milwaukee, and Andy was photographing weddings here in Wisconsin. He’s an absolutely beautiful photographer, by the way.
A year ago they decided to follow the dream and move to Hawaii! We were all absolutely heartbroken that they were leaving, but so proud of them for taking the chance to live their lives to the fullest, taking advantage of time and their youth – and just doing it.
A few weeks ago, they came back home to visit and asked me to update their headshots. (I am just so flattered!) We decided to do a few extra portraits on top of that and it was one of the most fun sessions ever. They’re both so full of life, so full of love, and we had an absolute ball. I’m so honored and humbled to be trusted to make portraits of fellow artists. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
