It’s always a huge honor when another photographer comes to my studio for portraits.
Kara is a wedding, family and newborn photographer here in Milwaukee, and she does lovely work. She decided she needed some new Personal Branding portrait headshots as well as some Birthday celebration portraits of herself. There’s no better reason to get photographed than a milestone such as a birthday! It’s an amazing way to look back and see “This was me.” This box of images is something Kara’s children and family will look back at with pride and joy.

“My hope for the session was twofold: to have a few beautiful, professional headshots that I could display on my website, but mostly to celebrate myself after my first year of motherhood. As a photographer you’re obviously behind the camera more often than in front of it, and it was wonderful to do something like this for myself. I couldn’t have been more thrilled!
The session itself was so fun from start to finish. The personal branding headshots were perfect and the masterful artistry behind the styling, posing and general feel of the rest of the session just makes my heart sing when I look at the photos.
