I photographed Lisa and Erich’s quaint at-home wedding in 2015, and they’ve always been some of my very favorite clients. When she reached out for maternity photos, I was thrilled! They were looking for a more non-traditional / modern / Vanity-fair style session. We really came away with so many beautiful images, including new headshots for both herself and her husband Erich, and I’m so excited to share her story and the photos below.
I am a repeat client of Jennifer’s, after we had the pleasure of spending the day with her to do our wedding photos in October 2015. When I learned that she was offering portrait photography, I knew immediately that I’d want to work with her again. I needed a new headshot for my webpage, and the thought of some non-traditional maternity photos was also pretty appealing.
After our consult, she had some really unique ideas for the photos and – though I’m not terribly comfortable in front of cameras – I left looking forward to the session. The day of the shoot was planned perfectly and went so smoothly; Jennifer is a true master and it’s always interesting to watch her eye for lighting, angles and posing at work…As with our wedding day, the portraits that came back from this day were nothing less than stunning; they really do speak for themselves. However, when looking through them I also can’t help but be reminded of how much fun it was to work with her on each occasion. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she’s also got such great energy to be around. I look forward to working with Jennifer again in the future and seeing the results of each of her other sessions in the meantime!Milwaukee maternity photos, Milwaukee maternity photographer, Photography studio Milwaukee West Allis WI, Maternity photographer
