Today I’m SO excited to share these images of the lovely Julie Ann Weston. She is a local Milwaukee woman who does some acting and modeling as she enjoys her retirement years.
I was on the hunt for a woman with amazing white/silver/light grey hair and she instantly stood out to me. I was so pleased she agreed to come shoot with me.
Here is a bit about her experience in the studio at the shoot:
“My experience with Jennifer was picture perfect!
Jennifer reached out to me via Facebook after she found me on Model Mayhem. Jennifer politely introduced herself and explained to me her idea of photographing mature models for a project she was creating. What I respected most about Jennifer was how clear her vision was and the ease that I felt about meeting with her and shooting with her. She provided me with explicit instructions of the date, time location and what to bring.
On the date of the shoot I arrived at her beautiful studio and I was in awe of her photos and how her studio was set up. I was warmly greeted by Jennifer and her makeup and hair stylist Katrina Christine. I felt at ease in her studio and loved that she had a welcome Julie sign on the makeup table. Katrina began applying my makeup based on Jennifer’s 1st vision and transformed me into a beautiful 55 year old woman who thought she looked 30!
We began our photoshoot and I knew I was in good hands with Jennifer! She was efficient, well spoken, gave impeccable instructions to me for every wardrobe change she provided! The time spent with Jennifer was fun, educational to me as a model, and exciting! Jennifer knew her subject, her vision and how to teach me to bring my best self to her in front of her camera. I was truly happy to work with Jennifer and Katrina and be part of her vision to represent women beautifully who are over 40!
Katrina did a spectacular job with my hair and makeup and knew exactly how to make my hair look fuller and glamorous for my second look. Jennifer’s clothing and jewelry selection for our shoot was perfection, from the outfits to the jewelry which were very well organized.
Working with Jennifer was the best experience I have had so far with a photographer!
I highly recommend Jennifer as a photographer and Katrina as a hair and makeup artist. Both of them made me feel beautiful inside and out!”
