I photographed Ashley & Sam’s engagement photos AND their wedding (back when I photographed weddings,) and so of course I was *thrilled* to hear from them when they reached out for maternity portraits. They made sure their dog Layla was involved in their engagement photos and in their wedding photos. Layla will always be their first baby! They’re not alone in wanting to include their dog in their maternity session and I’m finding more and more people who love this concept. Dog Maternity Photo Shoots are quickly becoming a new favorite for me.
I had so much fun photographing these two again! And now, a bit from Ashley on their experience:
“I can’t say enough wonderful thing about how amazingly talented Jennifer is! This is our third experience of her capturing a milestone in our story – engagement, wedding and maternity – and I am yet again blown away by how incredible each experience had been.
I wanted something outside of the ‘standard’ maternity photos. A few statement pieces to document this amazing time in my life. I knew Jennifer would be perfect for the job!
Going in I kept an open mind and trusted her vision – even though some of it may have been outside of my comfort zone – and she made me feel beautiful and confident the entire day. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with so many of her final selections and am always amazed by how she is able to capture not only mine, but my husband’s and dog’s personality as well! I couldn’t be happier with the results!
