I’m so excited today to share this set of fresh Branding Images for fellow Wisconsin professional photographer, Kara Reese Krause.
We had an amazing time in studio as usual and I was so excited to have her back. Because she was also 23 weeks pregnant we threw in a handful of maternity shots. It made sense to me because she photographs maternity and newborn – and I think she should show off that she’s not only a family photographer but a Mom. She knows what moms are going through with those kiddos. I adore photographing this woman.
Now a bit about her experience:
“I am a portrait photographer in Waukesha, specializing mainly in newborns, family portraits, and senior portraits. I have a diverse client base, so I was looking for portraits that reflect my personal style, as I find my clients are drawn to that.
I had beautiful portraits taken with Jennifer Brindley about 2 years ago, and my appearance has changed enough that I needed updated portraits (longer hair of a different color). I also wanted some photos with my camera in them.
Because I had been photographed by Jennifer before, I knew what to expect, but the experience was still wonderful! She makes you feel relaxed, comfortable and beautiful. You don’t have to prepare any ideas or specific poses beforehand. Jennifer is a master of posing and will make you look your best. In my case, I was about 23 weeks pregnant at the session, and didn’t want all of my photos to reflect the pregnancy. Jennifer was able to creatively pose me so that my belly wasn’t the focus for my business headshots – and as a result, you can’t even tell in those photos that I am pregnant. I will be able to use them for years.
I was given a diverse spread of images to choose from. I loved them all! Ultimately I wound up picking my favorites from each outfit and set that we did.
I’m obsessed with the photos. I think I look beautiful, professional, and approachable — all things I wanted to convey! Jennifer did an amazing job!
Jenn’s hair & makeup artist Theresa was wonderful as always. She did my hair and makeup for my previous session as well. My makeup looked polished and “just right” — it wasn’t too heavy handed, and photographed really well.” ~Kara
