Jessica Katzenmeyer ran for the State Assembly in 2020 for my district, and I was so happy to vote for her. Then, fast forward to this spring and I was overjoyed when she reached out for updated and fresh branding images and headshots . My team and I were totally thrilled to pamper and photograph Jessica, consulting on styling and wardrobe, and help her create images that will represent her the way she wants to be seen in the world, and in any future campaign.
Now I’ll let Jessica do the talking about her experience:
“Hello everyone! I’m Jessica Katzenmeyer! I’m a former State Assembly candidate in 2020 for District 15 in the West Allis/New Berlin areas! I was honored to be the 2nd ever openly transgender woman who has run for State Assembly in the history of Wisconsin! I love the community of West Allis and I am currently serving a appointed 3 year term on the city’s Plan Commission. I love helping and supporting small businesses and I stay active as a LGBTQ rights activist. I am self employed in transportation.
I came to Jennifer’s studio because she reached out to me last year after I came up short in my campaign. She expressed she was happy to support me and would love to bring me in for a shoot one day. As I prepare to likely get into another campaign next cycle, I decided to come in and show my support right back to Jennifer and her business here in West Allis!
This was the first time we had met in person and we had so much fun! Katrina who did my makeup was absolutely amazing! I felt very beautiful and even more confident with the photo shoot! Jennifer made the process really easy and was really good at posing and guiding through the entire experience, all the way through the reveal. The studio is private and easy to get to. I’m very satisfied with the results of the shoot, and the price was very worth it!
If I could give it 10,000 stars, I would! Thank you Jennifer and Katrina and I will be back!”- Jessica ❤️
