“Seventy.
There are times when we are forced to navigate through narrow passages, careful not scrape our spirit too much when the walls are just way too close to our elbows. Other times, we choose to enter a tight spot, deciding to be anxious on purpose. We squeeze into an unfamiliar place, hoping we’ll get through it without breaking another part of ourselves.
I chose to do this – to be uncomfortable, to be afraid. After all, who could capture a portrait of my fading diva self from a patchwork of nearly 70 years-worth of days? Who would be artistic and skillful enough? Who would be generous of spirit enough to sift through the smiles and sorrows of a stranger’s lifetime to capture it all in a photograph?
Jennifer Brindley.
Seriously, in all of my long life so far, I have never met a more intuitive, artistic, and talented photographer. Ever. She is a sharp and experienced professional with a heart of gold. Jennifer works tirelessly to make sure every detail is met and accomplished with excellence.
I grew to trust her instincts.
Her business acumen is unparalleled, her professionalism is sharp and flawless. She corrects with compassion and redirects with care. Her startling honesty is refreshing. I learned to listen to and to follow her directions – she knows what she’s doing!
I will miss her. As a matter of fact, this was so much fun, I think I’ll book another photo session, this time with my beloved husband in the Spring.
Thank you, Jennifer. I cannot recommend you highly enough. You’re the best.
Sincerely, xo,
Dr. Luanne N.”
